Accolade measurement is an independent UK based Company, established since 1992, specialising in structural and mechanical instrumentation and testing. We carry out on site measurement and testing on existing structures, from dimension surveys to safety critical structural monitoring. Specialised test rigs are also developed, tailored to specific problems.

We offer expertise in the following areas:-

Instrumentation - Remote monitoring of displacements, strains and loads through fully automated data logging and modem link up, or manual on-site readings.

Load Testing - Loading and displacement testing of structural components to assist in the assessment of integrity.

Dimension Surveys - CAD drawings produced from on site geometric measurement surveys.

Condition Surveys / Integrity Testing - Surveys carried out, sampling and destructive or non-destructive testing of concrete, steel and wood.

Special Purpose Testing - Mechanical & structural performance testing tailored to individual situations, devised and conducted, using purpose built equipment.

Timber Integrity - Until recently, no successful non-destructive test method for timber had been developed. We are now pleased to conduct timber integrity testing, using the sibert digital microprobe.

In our field quality is essential. Client satisfaction is achieved through employment of the correct methods, equipment and particularly the competence of each individual. Measurements made may be conducted using U.K.A.S. accredited labs and calibrated equipment. Staff are safety trained including confined spaces training and P.T.S for railtrack working.
