Pull Out Tests
We test the strength of anchors and fixings embedded in concrete and masonry, in accordance with BS5080-1 ‘Structural fixings in concrete and masonry – Method of test for tensile loading’. An axial tensile load is applied either to pull the fixing out (tested to destruction), or more commonly, a proof load is applied to ensure that a fixing will not pull out under service load conditions – commonly used for access and support equipment.
