Bespoke test rigs don’t necessarily mean high cost; we pride ourselves in producing innovative, cost effective solutions. New test rigs can often easily be built by adapting in house equipment, at no additional development cost.
The images below show a unique security door impact rig developed following consultation with the client. A test procedure was devised and the test rig built to enable comparative performance testing of different types of security door.
While testing the chassis of the yacht trailer the reaction for the load was gained simply by tying two chassis together, to avoid the need to develop a new test rig.
A custom designed test rig was developed at short notice and used to test these cages for their load carrying capacity.
